This project marks the first installation of the SunTera system in Sub-Saharan Africa. This significant milestone is part of the renowned Nigerian National Theatre solar project. The PV-plus-storage project adopts Jinko modules and the SunTera system, aiming to enhance energy efficiency and ensure uninterrupted power supply. This initiative aligns with the Nigerian government's sustainable development goals and further supports the country's transition to renewable energy.

Equipped with a 945 kWh LFP battery, 250 kW PCS (including a 250 kW DC-DC converter), 300 kW N-type bifacial PV modules, a set of diesel generators, and an energy management system (EMS), this project is a successful modern hybrid microgrid solution in Sub-Saharan Africa.
