Future Talents
Qingmiao Charitable Foundation
The Shangrao Qingmiao Charitable Foundation (formerly Jinko Qingmiao) is the company's main external donation channel. With a full- and part-time professional team, it strengthens governance and programme management, focusing on nurturing young talent and helping them realise their potential.
Qingmiao Experimental Primary School
Since 2018, JinkoSolar Chairman Xiande Li has donated over RMB 20m via the Foundation to build Hengfeng Qingmiao Experimental Primary School, serving about 1,200 pupils in 24 classes with compulsory education. Executives also set up the Singularity Scholarship to support diverse development based on pupils' interests and potential, plus seasonal and festive care.
Educational Scholarships and Grants
In 2023, Jinko established the Freshman Scholarship at Fudan for Shangrao students' studies and exchanges, and an academic fund with SISU for legal education, talent development and research.
University–Industry Collaboration
Jinko partners with Nankai, Central South and Ningbo universities for student internships and postgraduate training, and in 2024 launched the inaugural “Zero-Carbon Visionaries” Global Challenge, attracting over 100 teams from 80+ universities worldwide to foster new energy talent through innovation-led competition.
Community Service
Aid for Left‑Behind Children at Dadi School
Remaining committed to children's development and grassroots education, company volunteers visited Dadi Primary School in Dongtuan Township, Shangrao Economic and Technological Development Zone in 2023 to support left‑behind children, donating learning materials and everyday essentials, speaking directly with pupils to better understand their educational and daily needs, and offering practical care and encouragement.
Supporting Left-Behind Children at Jiaxuan Primary School
In 2023, Jinko set up the RMB 10m “Qingmiao” Teacher and Student Awards Fund at Yuhuan Middle School to support teacher and student development, with RMB 2m donated by end‑2024.
World Earth Day Environmental Initiative
In 2023, Jinko and partners organised a World Earth Day initiative with environmental lessons and art for pupils. A pupil artwork “Green Earth” from Hengfeng Qingmiao was subsequently added to the UN Global Compact collection, helping share environmental values.
PV+ESS for Social Impact
The company actively applies integrated PV+ESS technology in social-impact settings, using energy solutions to improve community infrastructure and enhance access to reliable energy.

Kalobeyei Settlement Microgrid Project, Kenya

To provide the Kalobeyei Settlement in Turkana County, Kenya, with a stable electricity supply, the company worked with multiple partners to deliver an integrated solar-plus-storage microgrid. The project combines high-efficiency photovoltaic modules with a containerised energy storage solution, comprising a 500 kW solar PV system and 1,104 kWh of battery storage. It enables more than 2,700 community users to access a reliable electricity network and was recognised in the Wallstreetcn ESG Innovative Practices List in 2023.

Addis Ababa Environmental Protection Authority Solar-plus-Storage Project, Ethiopia

In 2025, the company supported the upgrade of a solar-plus-storage system for the Addis Ababa Environmental Protection Authority, assisting with project delivery, equipment deployment and technical training. The installation comprises a 10.53 kW solar PV system and 38.4 kWh of battery storage. It provides a demonstrable and replicable model for community-based green energy, strengthening local clean-energy capabilities and supporting sustainable community development.

Solar-plus-Storage Power Station at a Zambian Technical and Vocational College

In 2024, the company worked with partners to build a solar-plus-storage power station at a technical and vocational college in Zambia, supporting off-grid electricity supply and renewable-energy education on campus. The project generates approximately 60,000 kWh of electricity per year and includes 96 kWh of battery storage. In addition to providing a reliable power supply for teaching buildings, it creates practical training opportunities for renewable-energy students and supports the development of vocational education and wider access to green energy.
