Jinko ESS named to BNEF Tier 1 list for fifth consecutive quarter, leading the global market with PV-storage synergy
2025.05.09

Recently, BloombergNEF, a globally renowned research institution, reported in its latest Q2 2025 report that Jinko ESS, a global leader in energy storage, has remained in the Tier 1 energy storage manufacturer list for five consecutive quarters, making it one of the very few energy companies worldwide to have received Tier 1 certification in both PV modules and energy storage systems. This continued recognition marks its energy storage systems as reaching world-class levels in bankability, technical reliability and mass-production delivery capabilities.

Leading PV technology lays the foundation for synergy

JinkoSolar’s third-generation Tiger Neo modules are built on the leading N-type TOPCon technology platform, combined with MAX, HCP passivation and 20BB busbar-less design, achieving a maximum power output of 670W. With a bifaciality of up to 85%, the modules extend the average daily power generation duration by 1.2 hours under low-light conditions, and feature a low temperature coefficient of -0.29%/°C, ensuring stable output even in high-temperature and high-irradiation environments.

Innovative energy storage technology builds safe and efficient systems

Jinko ESS’s latest-generation Blue Whale SunTera G3 6.25 MWh energy storage system employs intelligent liquid-cooling technology to control the temperature difference within the pack to within 2°C. It offers a wide operating temperature range (-35°C to 55°C) and efficient thermal management, adapting to extreme daily temperature fluctuations of over 20°C. The product features a five-level protection system, delivering five-dimensional safety protection—electrical, thermal, fire protection, structural and electrical safety—from cell level to system level, and incorporates thermal propagation mitigation technology to reduce fire risks.

Through the technical integration of N-type TOPCon high-efficiency modules and intelligent liquid-cooled energy storage systems, combined with global delivery capabilities and full industrial chain integration, Jinko has built a closed-loop solution from the generation side to the consumption side, positioning itself as a leading enterprise among new energy companies with both technical depth and market breadth.
